    Dear David,

As usual, I was just 'jonesin' for another Japanofiles episode when this one came through. Erin's observations on her time in Japan, the JET program, and language & identity (Japanese v. 'Caucasian') were very interesting and enlightening. Thanks again from Kansas, the heartland of the USA, the Land of Ahs. Everytime my wife and son hear an episode, they say they can't wait to get back to Japan. The boy is saying he wants to move there after he gets out of school, now. ;0)

On a side note, you should post some pictures on the blog. It'd be fun to see some images of your neighborhood, and if they are inclined, your guests, even you.

I don't know if you celebrate it, but Merry Christmas & best wishes for a prosperous 2010, and thanks so much for enriching all our lives in 2009 with Japanofiles! What a pleasure it's been. Easily one of my favorite podcasts ever.

I thoroughly enjoyed your thoughts on Japanese culture which was most stimulating. It was very informative and caused me to lose all track of time.
Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year
